Installation

Caution, Check For Underground Lines Before Digging

Excavate to a depth of 56" with a length of 111" and a width of 87". This allows for a 6" base of gravel and a 3" exposure of the base above grade. In poorly draining soil, excavate an additional drainage pit (see illustration) and fill with free draining stone. Compact soil after setting base. Place butyl seal around base lip. Set lid on base being careful not to dislodge butyl seal. Bolt shelter with straps provided. Slope soil away from shelter.
